Axiane Meunerie, one of France’s leading flour producers, signed up as a member of the Sustainable Wheat Initiative Europe, the bakery industry project initiated by AIBI to accelerate the industry’s sustainability transition.

The program’s organization welcomed its new member: “Our community is growing! We are delighted to welcome AXIANE Meunerie as an Active Member of the Sustainable Wheat Initiative Europe. Every new member brings experience, ideas and solutions to the table and strengthens our ability to move forward together. Because transforming the wheat-to-bread value chain cannot happen in isolation. It takes collaboration across the chain, sharing what works and tackling common challenges together. Axiane Meunerie operates eight regional mills. From 2021, all its wheat meets zero-insecticide storage standards. The wheat processed is grown in France, within a 250 km radius of its sites. All its mixed flours for Craft Bakery are 100% clean label.
