backaldrin opens barbecue season with Pane Scuro

In anticipation of spring season barbecues, backaldrin introduces the Pane Scuro mix for various fresh bread and pastry specialties, from rustic, flat barbecue bread to elongated root bread and small, crispy Krustis buns.

The soft Pane doughs are perfect for chilling overnight – without the need for baking tins or baskets. The mix has a high proportion of oat flour, providing fiber and protein, while the special recipe ensures product freshness.

It can be used for breads with large volumes and aromatic, crispy crust. “The moist, fluffy crumb with open pores is characteristic of these applications. The mild, aromatic taste rounds off this new product from backaldrin perfectly,” the company highlights.

Bread and pastries from this mix can be combined with nuts or yogurt, backaldrin illustrates.
