Baker & Baker launches Victoria Muffin in the UK

Baker & Baker launched a Victoria Muffin in the UK, an interpretation of the famous Victoria Sponge. The new muffin has a light vanilla flavor. It is filled with strawberry jam and crowned with sugar nibs and buttercream. It contains no artificial colors, flavors, preservatives, or eggs – making it suitable for vegetarians.

The thaw-and-serve Victoria Muffins are a permanent addition to Baker & Baker’s portfolio of products, have a four-day shelf life, and are available immediately via foodservice and bakery wholesalers.

The Victoria Muffin is the first of several permanent and limited edition treats to be launched by Baker & Baker in the UK this year. 

“We’ve taken the ever-popular Victoria Sponge and developed a muffin which we think would get royal approval”, comments Helen Sinclair, UK marketing manager at Baker & Baker. “The new muffin has been launched to help businesses drive spring and summer sales, with the product perfect for use with afternoon teas, through to those consumers who want a coffee and treat on the go.”
