Bayne’s The Family Bakers opened its newest shop today in Anniesland. The company hired 18 people for the new location, which widens the bakery’s footprint in Glasgow’s West End. This is Bayne’s seventh location in the city since arriving in Glasgow in 2018.

To celebrate the opening, customers who download the Bayne’s app in the shop on opening day will receive a free yum yum.
“The opening of the Anniesland shop reflects the growing demand for Bayne’s fresh baking and marks another step in the brand’s strategic expansion into high footfall areas and retail parks,” the bakery notes.

Other recent developments include the launch of Bayne’s first drive-thru in Hillington in 2021 and the introduction of the new Bayne’s mobile app earlier this year, designed to give customers easier access to loyalty rewards, offers and an improved digital experience.

Founded in Lochore, Fife, in 1954, the company now operates more than 70 shops and continues to invest in new locations, product innovation and its digital environment.
