Croatian craft bakery Boogie Lab is launching Boogie Lab USA and Boogie Bakery, the company’s first US-based micro bakery opening in spring 2024. Specialties sold will include sourdough-based breads, pastries and sandwiches. Distribution is set to begin in April.

According to the year ending December 31, 2023, the company’s operating profit was 117.2 million last year, meaning an organic increase of 20.8%. Its adjusted EBITDA was EUR 191.8 million (10.3% organic increase).
Following the successful deployment of its first 16-tonne electric truck in Enfield, Warburtons, is adding four new Renault Trucks E-Tech D16s to its fleet, in an effort to transition to zero-emission deliveries. Morrisons has appointed advisers to explore the possible sale of its bakery business, Rathbones, in an effort to reduce debts caused by inflation. The bakery has a 28,000 sq ft factory in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.
