Private-label specialist Cerealto’s revenues reached EUR 574 million in 2025, a growth of 9.3% compared to the previous year. The company’s EBITDA was up by 12%, at EUR 53 million. Among the products it launched last year are the new additions to the UK biscuits portfolio. These include Sticky Toffee Custard Creams, Lemon Meringue Custard Creams and Chocolate Orange Bourbons, responding to the demand for more premium and indulgent biscuit flavors.
The company highlights notable investments between 2022 and 2025, worth EUR 153 million. This included EUR 53m invested in 2025 alone to support future growth and manufacturing capability.
The funds were allocated to boosting industrial capabilities, innovation and international expansion. This is the largest investment cycle in the company’s recent history, Cerealto notes.
As a part of its expansion, the company recently acquired Fresca Foods in the US – a natural and organic snacking specialist. The sale of the pasta business in Spain was completed, to focus on snacking.
The company also secured EUR 110 million in funding to strengthen operations and support long-term expansion.
Last year, EUR 4.5m was invested in innovation projects, with over 277 product launches, including new SKUs and recipes in categories such as rice and corn cakes, snacks and breakfast.
Sustainability was a priority, and Cerealto reports on the progress made last year: its carbon footprint was lowered by 10.5%, with photovoltaic solar panels installed at its factories.
Between 2021 and 2025, water consumption was lowered by 27% and electricity use was reduced by 10%. Moreover, the company achieved a 13% gas use reduction in this timeframe.
Looking ahead, Cerealto expects to build on its strong momentum. It plans to invest a further EUR 75 million in 2026 across its geographies, focused on expanding capacity and driving operational efficiency.

- Chia seed crackers, new legume-based rice cakes, oat-based and lower-sugar products, and protein- and fiber-rich recipes
- Mini and on-the-go rice and corn cake formats
- New additions to the UK biscuits portfolio: Sticky Toffee Custard Creams, Lemon Meringue Custard Creams and Chocolate Orange Bourbons
Bosco Fonts, CEO, Cerealto, said: “This has been a year of strong progress for Cerealto, in the face of a challenging external landscape. We delivered several key milestones, supported by a significant investment effort across the business. We have invested more than 153 million euros over the last four years to strengthen our industrial capabilities and support our international expansion, consolidate focus on our core categories and strengthen our value proposition for clients and consumers.
Cereal-based foods is a hugely dynamic category operating at the cross-section of several consumer trends – from the rise in fibre and protein to the shift towards more flexible snacking occasions. Our depth of specialism and innovation capabilities have allowed us to support clients in responding to those changes and to develop new recipes, formats and solutions adapted to evolving consumer needs.
With further investments planned across Europe and the US, we are well-positioned to continue growing, strengthening our competitiveness and building on this momentum in the years ahead.”
The company employs 3,900 people and operates 11 production centres across Spain, Portugal, the UK, the US and Mexico. It specializes in private label and co-manufacturing. The business is backed by Afendis Capital Management and Davidson Kempner Capital Management, specialist investors with deep experience in food manufacturing businesses.
