Dawn Foods published its 2025 CSR Report, showing significant progress made on its key sourcing commitments. It highlights the use of 86% Rainforest Alliance Certified cocoa, which exceeds the company’s original target of 75%. It also uses 100% cage-free eggs across its Dawn and Royal Steensma portfolios, and 100% RSPO-certified palm oil. 85% of the soy it uses is ProTerra-certified soy, supporting responsible sourcing and supply chain transparency.
The 2025 Corporate Social Responsibility Report for Europe and AMEAP marks the completion of the cycle launched in 2021. It highlights progress on three CSR pillars: People, Products, and Customers. Looking ahead, Dawn says it will “remain committed to advancing responsible sourcing, sustainability, transparency, and innovation across our business.”
Investing in people: Dawn notes work on strengthening wellbeing and building leadership capability through programs such as LEAD, Ignite, and the Women’s Leadership Programme.
Building transparency: The company also focuses on increasing transparency throughout its value chain. “Today, 100% of our suppliers acknowledge our Code of Excellence, and 11 production sites are registered with Sedex, supporting responsible sourcing and ethical business practices,” Dawn Foods says.
Better-for-you products: Dawn’s NPD efforts focus on changing customer and consumer expectations: since 2021, the company has expanded its Better-for-You portfolio by 63%, exceeded its sodium reduction commitments, and continued progressing on more sustainable packaging solutions.
