Fedima announced a new project supporting sustainability in bakery and patisserie, the Fedima Grant for Local Sustainable Initiatives. The grant is open to small businesses, bakeries, craft bakers, and research institutes across Europe (EU + EFTA*, UK, Turkey) that are actively engaged in the bakery, patisserie, or confectionery food chain.
Applicants are encouraged to submit projects that contribute to sustainable development in areas such as(but not limited to) circular economy, waste reduction, sustainable packaging, responsible sourcing, energy efficiency, and nutrition.
The ingredient manufacturers’ association set up a bi-annual grant of EUR 20,000, aimed at supporting local businesses, researchers, and industry players in developing innovative solutions that contribute to environmental, social, and economic sustainability.
The call for applications starts on April 1.
The European Free Trade Association (EFTA) countries are: Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland.
