With an official groundbreaking ceremony held on July 18, the management teams of the MULTIVAC Group and FRITSCH kicked off construction of the bakery equipment manufacturer’s new corporate headquarters in the new industrial park in the city of Iphofen.
This is an investment of approximately EUR 75 million. The construction should be finished by the second quarter of 2028.
Guests at the event included Tamara Bischof, District Administrator of the Kitzingen district; Dieter Lenzer, Mayor of Iphofen; Christian Jung, Head of the Iphofen Building Department; as well as representatives from the planning firms and the general contractor.
“Today is a special day for FRITSCH,” said Dr. Nico Hassmann, Managing Director of FRITSCH. “The groundbreaking ceremony marks the start of construction on our new corporate headquarters and holds special significance in our centennial anniversary year. It symbolizes the connection between tradition and the future, as well as growth, a forward-looking approach, and our long-term commitment to this location. Step by step, a corporate headquarters is now taking shape that will unite our five locations and create the conditions necessary to continue our successful corporate development, offer attractive jobs, and further optimize processes.”
