Greencore announced that the acquisition of Bakkavor is now complete, strengthening its foothold in convenience food as it prepares to celebrate its 100th anniversary. The combined business brings together 28,000 people across 36 UK and US locations, producing 3,200 products in more than 20 categories, with a revenue of GBP 4 billion in FY 2025.

Every year, the new Greencore will deliver approximately:

• 1 billion sandwiches, salads, sushi and other food-to-go items
• 400 million chilled prepared meals
• 260 million desserts
• 125 million pizzas
