Verhoeven Family of Companies will exhibit its portfolio in a new 3D style at interpack this year. In an interview, the company shares a behind-the-scenes look at its preparations for the event and its current projects.

bbi: What are you highlighting at Interpack 2026?

Verhoeven: We will be celebrating and communicating the fact that our Bakery Equipment Family has been active in the international bakery market for 25 years. Our communication theme in recent years has been based on the future-oriented and innovative characteristics of aerospace, which are in line with and symbolize high-tech technologies used in modern bakeries.

‘The Sky is not the Limit’ still represents our hands-on mentality and our vision of what we can offer to our customers and the market: innovation, convenience, creativity and flexibility. This year, the theme is underlined by the slogan: No Future without History’. As we look ahead to ‘the ‘bakery of the future’, we draw on the knowledge and experience we have built up during this milestone period, a quarter of a century of bakery business activities.

The portfolio of tailor-made solutions will be presented in a new 3D style. Continuous improvement of existing innovations is the key. The booth at Interpack creates the feeling of traveling through space, and then suddenly the presentation changes into a classic Dutch historical environment, until the journey through space continues again.

While we are offering visitors the opportunity to explore our entire portfolio in an interactive way, we also explain the Repeatloaf concept in more detail and show the latest improvements on products processed in our leading Vacuum Cooling & Baking machines, with live demonstrations.

bbi: What processes do your latest solution improvements target?

Verhoeven: The entire baking process, from dough processing to post-baking (cooling, packaging, and recycling) and the entire handling process in between! We are working on multiple levels to improve the entire production process, so that we can modernize and prepare for the challenges our customers face in today’s market.

bbi: And what are your latest developments regarding services you provide (training programs, digital services, apps, remote monitoring, etc.)?

Verhoeven: We offer a wide range of training and testing opportunities,  as well as guidance after installation. Obviously, the newest technologies allow us to continuously improve these services and proactively introduce innovative support, such as predictive maintenance.

Our test baking facility has been renovated. Just before Interpack, we opened the brand-new T4 Center (Technique, Technology, Test & Taste) at our headquarters in Oss, the Netherlands.
