The Koenig Group announced a leadership transition for Koenig Bakery Systems USA: from March 1, Jake Levy will assume the role of President and Chief Executive Officer, as Richard Breeswine retires. He has been with Koenig for 18 years and has nearly 40 years of background in food machinery sales.
Richard Breeswine is behind Koenig’s expansion in market development, product innovation and sales growth in the US, the company highlights. He will remain with the company during a planned transition period to support Jake and his team.
“It has been an honor to work alongside such a talented team and pass on leadership to the next generation,” said Richard Breeswine “Jake will continue with our mission to provide quality bakery machines, excellent service to our valued bakery customers and to expand our company to new heights.”
In his previous roles, Jake Levy, an executive with 18 years of experience with Koenig Bakery Systems, was a service technician, service and parts manager, general manager, and sales and company officer.
“I am excited to take on this new role and build upon the strong foundation that Rich and I have created,” said Jake Levy. “Together with our talented team, we will continue to drive growth and value to our customers.”
The US subsidiary of the Koenig Group was founded in 2005.
