LeMatic opened a new subsidiary, LeMatic do Brasil LTDA. Located in Campinas, Sao Paulo, the new office is serving the company’s growing South American market.

Teresa Ruder, Vice President of Business Development, comments: “This move is a strategic one, aimed at capitalizing on Brazil’s large population, growing consumer base and skilled workforce. As we expand our global reach, it allows us to better serve our clients and tap into this region’s vibrant innovation ecosystem. It also presents opportunities for LeMatic to integrate into global supply chains, benefit from regional trade advantages within the Southern Common Market (Mercosur) and find opportunities to invest in emerging sectors such as growing manufacturing industries and engineering.”

Founded in 1972, LeMatic designs and manufactures its equipment at its Jackson, MI, facility. The company’s equipment can be found in packaging rooms of bakeries throughout the world.
