Lone Star acquires Hillenbrand

Lone Star completed the acquisition of Hillenbrand for USD 3.8 billion. The transaction was initially announced on October 15, 2025, and approved by Hillenbrand’s shareholders on January 8. Lone Star, an investment firm headquartered in London, UK, now owns Coperion – the Hillenbrand company that brought together several solutions providers well known in the bakery industry, including VMI, Diosna, Bakon, Unifiller, Shick Esteve, Shaffer, Peerless and more.
