MECATHERM appointed David Destatte as Sales Director for MECATHERM in North America and for ABI at a global level, and Thomas Dusaussoy as Development Manager in North America.

Based in Toronto, David Destatte will lead the Sales organization. In his new role, he will oversee all North American sales activities for MECATHERM, while also taking on responsibility for global sales operations for ABI. He takes over from Franck Ellenbogen, who has been named Sales Director for Eastern Europe.

“I am proud to take on this position at a time when MECATHERM is entering a new phase of expansion in North America. With clear priorities and a strong long-term vision, the company is creating the right momentum to strengthen its footprint in key markets,” says David Destatte. He brings more than 20 years of expertise in packaging, conveyor systems, and engineered automation solutions. For the past 10 years, he has led sales teams across North America, contributing to the strong growth in the market.

Destatte will work closely with Thomas Dusaussoy, who is the new Business Development Manager. He brings a combined experience as a sales manager and trained baker to MECATHERM’s sales team. Dusaussoy brings close to two decades of international commercial experience in the baking and food equipment industry. After holding sales leadership roles across Europe and Asia-Pacific, he founded his bakery in Ontario seven years ago.
