Middleby opened the Middleby Innovation Kitchens (MIK) in Munich, Germany, expanding the company’s commercial foodservice solutions and culinary expertise throughout Europe. The facility will serve as an experience center for partners, clients, and culinary professionals, encompassing the full breadth of the Middleby solutions and brands.
Guests can experience real-world applications of Middleby technologies in themed environments, with solutions for every foodservice concept — from fast casual to fine dining, ghost kitchens to gourmet bakeries.
The Munich MIK also serves as the new hub and official launchpad for Middleby Germany, the company’s latest regional subsidiary focused on serving the German, Austrian, Czech, and Swiss markets. Simon Seemüller, Managing Director of Middleby Germany leads the efforts in the region.
“The Middleby Innovation Kitchens have been successful in attracting top chefs and well-known customers to their respective locations. The current MIK locations have built a reputation for showcasing the most advanced innovation and the latest culinary trends, presented by our knowledgeable, talented culinary staff,” said Tim FitzGerald, Middleby CEO.
“This launch is a significant step in strengthening our presence in Central Europe,” said Chris Jones, European Group President, Middleby Worldwide. “The Munich Innovation Kitchens is more than a showroom — it’s a collaborative hub to explore ideas, refine operations, and shape the future of foodservice as a partner of our customers.”
