MIWE America introduced the MIWE FreshBakeCenter (FBC) Model 1826, an oven created for supermarkets, chain restaurants, and other retailers baking at the point of sale. The MIWE FBC is an electrically heated convection oven designed for consistent, uniform baking results. The in-store baking station includes preset, programmed recipes, automated start times, online remote monitoring and control, as well as fully automated, contactless cleaning, and the MIWE flexbake® quality system, which automatically adjusts the steam and temperature to compensate for process variations.

Available in configurations for different capacities, the MIWE FreshBakeCenter standard model oven accommodates up to 16 trays in two baking chambers for large batches. Three-circuit and two-circuit variations suit small quantity baking of multiple products at the same time. “A novel loading trolley concept allows one worker to load and unload the entire oven or individual baking chambers quickly and easily, even in tight spaces,” MIWE highlights.

The new oven was designed in a vertical orientation for a compact footprint. A wide range of custom options, such as double or triple glass glazing, POS system integration, steam units, and centralized oven fleet control systems are available. The baking station is available for testing in the company’s New Jersey headquarters.

The US branch of the company recently celebrated the grand opening of its new headquarters, a 15,000 square feet facility featuring a MIWE live baking center, the MIWE America technical center, and a warehouse stocked with new production baking ovens, loading systems, proofer-retarders, and other refrigeration technologies, plus replacement parts for all models.
