Mondelēz names Norberto Chaclin Executive VP, Chief R&D Officer

Mondelēz International appointed Norberto Chaclin as Executive Vice President and Chief Research & Development Officer. He reports directly to Chair and CEO Dirk Van de Put. Chaclin was previously the company’s Senior Vice President, R&D, Global Biscuits and Regional R&D partner for North America. Under his leadership, Mondelēz rolled out innovations and renovations for biscuit and baked snack brands such as Oreo, Chips Ahoy!, LU, Ritz, Club Social, belVita and Clif Bar. 

Before joining Mondelēz International, Chaclin worked for PepsiCo for 18 years, in a series of roles including Frito-Lay North America, PepsiCo International, Global Beverages and Joint Ventures – and R&D for PepsiCo North America Beverages as well as the Pepsi/Starbucks joint venture.
