The new OMAR Bakery Plant opened in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski, in southeastern Poland. It is a EUR 17.2 million investment. The construction was carried out as part of the European Funds for Modern Economy 2021 – 2027 program, the company highlights. The development project was entitled: ‘Implementation of an innovative range of supplemented bread with improved nutritional parameters and extended shelf life’. The funding received is PLN 74,097,072.27 (EUR 17.2 million).
OMAR Bakery has been operating since 1993. Initially, the business focused on producing fresh bread delivered directly to small retail customers. In 2009, the facility began producing frozen bread products, which became the core of the company’s operations.
The bakery’s product range includes various types of bread, rolls, baguettes, and sandwich rolls, as well as hand-rolled rustic bread, which serves as the bakery’s flagship product line. The offer also features organic products.
