From this summer, Sveba Dahlen will become part of Midera Food Processing – the new, independent company formed through the spin-off of The Middleby Corporation’s Food Processing business. The separation is expected to be completed on July 6, 2026, subject to customary conditions. Midera is planned to be listed on the Nasdaq Global Select Market in the food processing category.

Midera Food Processing offers solutions for the entire production line – from preparation and thermal processing to packaging – and serves customers on six continents.

For Sveba Dahlen, the transition means becoming part of a more focused group fully dedicated to food production, bakery and industrial solutions, the company explains. Midera has approximately 2,800 employees globally and is headquartered in Rosemont, Illinois, USA.

“The Midera name will gradually begin to appear in our communication. However, Sveba Dahlen and Glimek will continue to be the brands our customers recognize and trust. For us, this is about making clearer the strength, expertise and innovative power behind Sveba Dahlen and Glimek,” says Åsa Ericsson.

“For our Swedish customers, this will not change their day-to-day contact with Sveba Dahlen. We will continue to deliver the same high quality, the same service and the same strong solutions for bakeries, pastry shops, restaurants and food production. The difference is that, going forward, we will do so as part of Midera Food Processing – a strong international group fully focused on our industry,” says Åsa Ericsson, Marketing Manager at Sveba Dahlen.

Midera Food Processing originates from Middleby’s Food Processing business, which generated approximately USD 850 million in revenue in 2025. For 2026, the forecast is USD 915–945 million, demonstrating a strong position and continued growth within the segment.
