After a career of more than 30 years with Vandemoortele, Bart Bruyneel, Managing Director Plant-Based Food Solutions (PBFS), will retire on April 1, 2026. Helena Vanhoutte will succeed him.
Vandemoortele reported a sales increase of 10.6% in the first half of 2025 compared to the previous year, boosted by recent acquisitions. “In the first half of 2025, the Vandemoortele Group achieved solid growth despite a difficult market environment,” said CEO Yvon Guérin.

As part of the agreement, Vandemoortele will acquire a majority stake in Banneton, while Victor and Alex Litinetsky, founders of Banneton, will stay invested in the capital and continue to lead the day-to-day management of the business after closing.
