Unifiller, a brand of Coperion, organizes an opening event of its new Richmond, British Columbia facility on March 24, 2026. The celebration will include interactive demonstrations and tours of the shop floor and Technology Center. Buddy Valastro will be the event’s guest of honor.
Unifiller relocated to better support the expansion of its global manufacturing, services, and customer support, the company underlines.
“Bringing the Unifiller team together under the Coperion brand at this new facility supports closer collaboration, consistency, and long-term customer support,” says Matt Craig, president of Coperion. “The Richmond site reflects Coperion’s continued investment in Unifiller technologies, innovation, and customer proximity.”
“The new facility signifies our commitment to innovation and excellence and represents a tremendous milestone for our dedicated associates,” says Martin Murphy, General Manager, Finished Deserts and Meal Solutions for Coperion. It creates a dynamic environment where collaboration can flourish, ultimately allowing us to better serve our customers with cutting-edge technologies and seamless support.”
Matt Craig will welcome guests, highlight the team’s transition to the new location, and showcase Coperion’s newest technology from Unifiller. This includes the HIRO (Highly Intuitive Robot Operator) cake decorating robot, MultiStation with Hopper Topper, and an RP (Rotary Piston) Depositor, which offers high-speed depositing solutions using servo technology for accurate volume portioning.
