ISM and ProSweets Cologne are counting down days to their January 30 opening after a two-year break, starting the year of anticipated in-person trade events. Organizers will use the #B-Safe4Business hygiene concept and the 3G concept, CH3CK, to regulate the safe admission for trade fair participants. In addition, the new Corona Protection Ordinance of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia, which is valid from January 13 to  February 9, includes several essential new aspects for the trade fair business. It allows admission to both trade fairs to vaccinated, tested or recovered persons who provide legal identification. Moreover, ISM and ProSweets Cologne are offering the exhibiting companies, visitors, service providers and the media exclusively digital tickets. Admission makes use of both the 3G proof and the digital ticket. It is compulsory to wear a face mask on the fairgrounds, at exhibition stands, in queues and outdoor areas. The face mask can be taken off when sampling products and when seated in the food service areas. Disinfection dispensers will be available in all essential points of the exhibitions, and contact surfaces will be regularly disinfected as well.

ISM and ProSweets are will both take place from  January 30 to  February 2, 2022, and are exclusively open to the international trade audience.

“Both trade fairs live from the diversity. The high interest from a number of national and international companies for both trade fairs makes us optimistic that the re-start will be a success for us. Face-to-face contact is of course the core element of every trade fair. So that ISM and ProSweets Cologne are a successful and safe trade fair experience for all trade fair participants, we have taken all conceivable parameters and measures into account in the scope of our safety and hygiene concept #B-SAFE4business and constantly remain in close contact with the respective authorities. The safety and health of our exhibiting companies, trade audience and also of our own employees takes top priority,” commented Oliver Frese, Chief Operating Officer of Koelnmesse GmbH.
