Jane’s Pantry opened the doors of its new bakery-café in Twigworth, near Glouchester, on February 1. Product ranges include breads, sandwiches, savory specialties and cakes. The new location works from Monday to Saturday, starting at 7:30 (and the Coffee Lounge at 8:30) until 18.00. Sunday’s opening times are 9.30 to 18.00. The bakery-café has 48 seats and is the result of a GBP 300,000 investment, according to a report by soglo.

Jane’s Pantry has 10 stores across Gloucester and one in Cheltenham. The first shop starting the business was opened as a sandwich bar in Gloucester in 1971 by Tony and Barbara Phillips, and was named after the owners’ youngest daughter. It is still a family-run operation. Jane’s Pantry now employs more than 100 people from its Tuffley, Gloucester Headquarters. “Our new shop at Kingswalk gives our customers and a modern retail space which is mixed with a rustic/industrial look. Alongside our brand new kitchen, we have an innovative menu with a range of fresh meals produced with local ingredients,” the company detailed in a social media post.
