f2m: What are you preparing to highlight at IBIE?
Ashworth: This year, we are once again expanding our portfolio of plastic conveyor belt solutions, in addition to introducing a new heavy-duty metal conveyor belt.
f2m: What is one takeaway that visitors should keep in mind about your stand this year?
Ashworth: The best of both worlds! As we continue to expand upon our plastic belt solutions and innovate our metal belt offerings, Ashworth Bros., Inc. offers a one-stop solution for all your conveyor belt and maintenance needs – from our innovative designs to our Ashworth Factory Service. Our experts not only help you customize a solution that works, but also close the loop on providing installation, retrofitting, engineering, and maintenance services.
f2m: How would you compare the North American and APAC markets with Europe, from your work? What types of solutions are you requested the most on these geographies, from your portfolio?
Ashworth: Very similar yet different: the North American market sees wider belt applications, while the APAC markets currently are narrow. In Europe, belts of varied widths are common. However, as manufacturing expands, belts of all widths can be found around the world. Both metal and plastic solutions are requested from all three regions, and as a custom belt manufacturer, we can accommodate requirements for custom widths in either metal or plastic.
f2m: Please highlight new solutions you are introducing at IBIE.
Ashworth: At IBIE 2025, we will launch a few new products. We invite attendees to visit our booth at 2101 in the west hall to see our innovation firsthand! In the meantime, here what to expect in September:
We will launch our new Heavy-Duty Small Radius Omni-Grid® 360 Weld. The Small Radius Omni-Grid 360 Weld is the first of its kind. It’s the highest tension-rated belt in the small radius belt market. Ashworth’s Heavy-Duty Small Radius Omni-Grid 360 Weld is small, but mighty, with a tension rating of 400 pounds. Combined with its patented zero-tension, 360 buttonless weld, it offers improved durability, additional strength, is easy to clean, and can increase belt life.
We’re also excited to debut Ashworth’s EZ Splice® technology. Where metal belt splicing is faster, safer, and easier than ever—no welder required. Simply put, EZ Splice offers the strength of metal with the simplicity of plastic belting.
