The Free From Food Awards organizers announced this year’s outstanding Halloween-themed developments that are free from allergens. The exhibition recognizes a growing enthusiasm for the celebration worldwide.

This year’s best in safe-and-spooky winner of the gold medal is Simply Toppers™, for its 20 Halloween Trick or Treat Edible Toppers, a collection of black bats, cats, hats & cauldrons. Simply Toppers is based in Scotland and manufactures handmade edible sugar paste cupcake and cake topper decorations for the home and professional bakers. “All our products are suitable for vegetarians and vegans. Our Ingredients are all sourced from the UK and are dairy- and gluten-free,” highlights Rosemary Bushell. Its products are sold via online platforms.

Chef Hallowe’en Chocolates were awarded silver, handmade keto chocolates with unusual flavors, including Yuzu Matcha Zombies, Spiced Pumpkins, Salted Caramel Mummys and Macambo Skulls. Bronze went to Lidl GB for its Hallowe’en Spooky Fish and to Sweet Keto Chef for Spiced Pumpkin 37, sweets with a butterscotch aroma, another keto-compliant creation.
