For the second year in a row, Grupo Bimbo was listed among the ‘World’s Best Companies 2024’, made by Time magazine and Statista. The world’s biggest bakery stands out for being part of the top 10 in the global food category and for appearing in 127th place out of 1,000 in the overall ranking.

The ranking is the result of a comprehensive analysis to identify the world’s best-performing companies. The selection is based on three main aspects:

• Employee satisfaction: Surveys were conducted in more than 50 countries, with data collected from approximately 170,000 participants. In the evaluation, companies gave direct and indirect recommendations, as well as employer ratings of verified employees for image, environment, working conditions, salary, and equality.
• Revenue growth: Companies were considered if they had revenues of at least USD 100 million in 2023 and positive revenue growth between 2021 and 2023.
• Sustainability (ESG): Assessed based on ESG data between the standardized KPIs of the Statista ESG database and specific data research.

Grupo Bimbo has 227 bakeries and plants and more than 1,500 sales centers in 35 countries throughout the Americas, Europe, Asia and Africa. Grupo Bimbo has one of the largest direct distribution networks in the world with more than 58,000 routes and over 152,000 associates. Its main product lines include sliced bread, buns & rolls, pastries, cakes, cookies, toast bread, English muffins, bagels, tortillas & flatbreads and salty snacks.

Tech companies accounted for six of the top 20 positions and four of the top 10 on the list of the world’s best companies.
