At iba, FRITSCH will highlight a new compact pastry line designed for mid-sized bakeries, with a hygienic design, which will also feature the MULTIVAC Cooling@Packing System.

For the pastry line, FRITSCH built on the hygienic features showcased at the previous iba on bread lines. “The easy handling of the line with removable components and a new click system will portray our user-friendly approach. We will present these benefits in more detail via live demonstrations,” the specialists from FRITSCH reveal.

The MULTIVAC Cooling@Packing System is a vacuum application for cooling bakery products, which integrates the cooling process into the thermoforming packaging machine and will also be demonstrated live at iba. With this system, bakery products can be packed immediately after baking, giving them a longer product shelf life while maintaining their freshness.

Live demonstrations are not the only events staged at the stand: “We will again be hosting our FRITSCH & Friends evening with customers and business partners on May 19. Here, we can meet and discuss in a relaxed atmosphere after a busy day at the show,” FRITSCH highlights.

For this year and beyond, FRITSCH is focusing on three main topics in developing solutions, based on bakers’ needs. They are:

  • Hygienic design: components should be easily accessible and quick to clean
  • Easy handling: settings, operation and product changes should be made as easy as possible for the operator
  • Flexibility: modular and flexible solutions to cover a wide range of different products and the ability to tailor the line precisely to the customer’s needs or end-products

FRITSCH comments on their priorities: “Innovations are mainly driven by our customers’ demands. Nevertheless, innovation efforts are also dedicated to expanding our digital drive for data feedback, product monitoring and quality control. The first step in that regard is evident in our Smart Services. The Smart Production Insights (SPI) assists in monitoring the key performance data of the line in real-time, whereas, our Watchdog highlights to the customers where predictive maintenance is needed on the line to avoid unplanned equipment downtime.”
