Jan Philipp Hartmann will take over the role of director for Anuga at Koelnmesse. From April 1, he will be responsible for the direct management and development of Anuga, succeeding Stefanie Mauritz, who was appointed to the role in December 2019.

Jan Philipp Hartmann has been with Koelnmesse since 2016. In his previous role, he was a sales manager for ISM/ISM Middle East exhibitors. From mid-2019 onwards, he has been ISM Middle East’s director. One of his tasks was the rebranding of  yummex into ISM.

“We are very glad to have found a talented professional from our own ranks for one of our largest global trade fairs. Anuga will benefit enormously from Jan Philipp Hartmann’s wealth of international experience and his passion for the world of events”, says Gerald Böse, Chair of the Board.

After focusing on trade fairs in Dubai, the new director is looking forward to organizing an event in his home city of Cologne. He has set out some clear objectives: “I am aiming to sharpen up and expand the Anuga brand, especially in terms of its status as a world-class trade fair. To achieve this, we need to clearly differentiate ourselves from the competition, courageously drive forward with our role as a content leader and incorporate even more events into our B2B concept.”
