Lila Bäcker customers will be able to buy bread and baked goods around the clock in a new pickup store. The autonomous shop was showcased at the BakerSoft südback stand. It was dismantled after the trade fair and trialed in the Lila Bäcker sales area. Marc Grimminger, Managing Director of Unser Heimatbäcker Holding GmbH, said: “We want to make shopping as easy and convenient as possible for our guests. This includes 24/7 shopping, as we can open and close this store independently of operator obligations. We can also optimize our sales and returns in this way in order to be able to do business in a more sustainable and resource-saving manner.”
