Peter Schmidt, a member of Conditorei Coppenrath & Wiese’s management board responsible for Marketing & Sales, Finance & Administration and Product Development (R&D) since December 1, 2015, will retire on March 1, 2024. He receives thanks from the Advisory Board of Conditorei Coppenrath & Wiese KG for his work. He helped manage the company’s integration with the structures of the Oetker Group, which Coppenrath & Wiese took over in June 2015.

Before joining Coppenrath & Wiese, Schmidt worked for 26 years in the Oetker Group: first in the Business Administration Department of the holding company Dr. August Oetker KG and then as Senior Executive Manager in International Controlling at Dr. August Oetker Nahrungsmittel KG.

Next year, Kasper von Bockum who has held various international positions in the Oetker Group since 2010 and most recently was Senior Executive Manager of Corporate Development at Dr. August Oetker Nahrungsmittel KG, will take over Peter Schmidt’s responsibilities as a new member of the Management Board of Coppenrath & Wiese. For a transitional period, von Bockum will also continue to be responsible for the project management of the growth and efficiency program within Dr. August Oetker Nahrungsmittel KG.
