Mondelēz International announced the appointment of Jay Cooper as President of its Northern Europe division. He will be responsible for Mondelēz International’s businesses in the UK, Ireland, Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark, where Mondelēz manufactures and sells brands including Cadbury, Oreo, Maynards Bassetts, Ritz, belVita, Freia and Maribou. 

Cooper has been with Mondelez for 20 years, having previously led biscuit, chocolate, and confectionery businesses both in the US and internationally. Prior to his new role, he held the position of Senior Vice President of Growth for North America.

Cooper replaces Clive Jones, who also has a new role within the business as President Central Europe, EU Central Sales & Global Licensing.
