Charles-Henri Casala has taken on the newly created position of Senior Marketing Director DACH at Mondelēz International. He is responsible for all marketing in the areas of chocolate, baked snacks and meals in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. At the beginning of September, Casala moved to Bremen and is now in charge of marketing in the German-speaking region in the three categories. He is responsible for popular brands such as Milka, OREO, TUC and Philadelphia and is also a member of the DACH leadership team.
“I am very much looking forward to working with a highly professional and passionate marketing team and further advancing our strong brands in the DACH region in close partnership with the DACH organization and our external agencies,” says Charles-Henri Casala about his new challenge.
Born in France, he is a marketing professional with more than 20 years of industry experience. After starting at Mondelēz International in France, he moved to the European headquarters in Zurich in 2012. There he managed, among other things, the OREO and Milka biscuits brands for Europe, before he was appointed Marketing Director Confectionary (chocolate, chewing gum, confectionery) for the Benelux countries in 2017, in Brussels. In 2021, he took over the same categories for all Scandinavian countries, from Stockholm.
