ISM/ProSweets Cologne, which will be held as a special edition from April 23 to 25, will address the challenges in the sweets and snacks industries that led to the one-off delay, including the steep price increases for raw materials, energy and logistics.
ISM will be held from April 23 to 25, and will be scaled down from four to three days in 2023, in response to feedback from the confectionery and snack industry, and ISM’s sponsoring associations.
ISM and ProSweets Cologne are counting down days to their January 30 opening after a two-year break, starting the year of anticipated in-person trade events. Organizers will use the #B-Safe4Business hygiene concept and the 3G concept, CH3CK, to regulate the safe admission for trade fair participants.
Ingredient specialists will bring solutions for health-promoting solutions, including plant-based foodstuffs, to ProSweets Cologne from January 30 to February 2, 2022. The show organizers anticipate innovative ingredients will be introduced, which not only go into recipes that are rich in protein and fiber, but also make clean-label claims possible.
ISM and ProSweets Cologne are preparing for in-person exhibitions from January 30 to February 2, as organizers note that all signs point to a restart of on-location events. Next year, the fairs will focus on the topic of sustainable packaging for the sweets and snacks industry.
