Délifrance publishes foodservice guide

Délifrance prepared a resource titled ‘Smart guide – time saving & low budget food service solutions’ to support the embattled foodservice sector as it recovers from pandemic, inflation, and supply chain disruptions. The French specialist carried out extensive research over the past two years to prepare the guide, interviewing numerous players in six European countries.

“The foodservice sector has faced more than its fair share of challenges over the last two years; after a global pandemic, from which the sector brilliantly recovered in 2022, leading to a record summer season, new problems arose. Recruitment, raw material shortages and inflation have all emerged as long-term issues. At Délifrance, we believe that a good supplier is not just a product provider; it’s a real business partner, capable of providing solutions and adapting its product range and services to a turbulent context,” the introduction of the Guide details.

The guide contains tips, recipes, advice and products specifically designed to help the foodservice industry meet these challenges. “We sincerely hope that these ideas will help and mostly inspire you find concrete solutions to support the success of your business,” Délifrance wishes.

The first section, titled ‘Smart tips’, features solutions, advice, recipes, ideas about how to use Délifrance products, smart tips and ideas organized according to different needs, such as reducing waste, or impressing customers. “They are smart because they: save energy, save time, are easy to prepare, are economical. Maintaining the best product quality and highest customer satisfaction is always our key concern,” Délifrance writes.

The second part delves into product categories: viennoiserie, bread, patisserie, savory.
