The APEX Mini Combo BDR Bread and Bun System by AMF Flex won this year’s ‘Innovation for Growth’ award at Bakery China. AMF Bakery Systems (AMF) developed this system focusing on automating processes and improving efficiency as well as efficiency in the production facility.

“The Mini Combo BDR System offers a value-engineered bread and bun production solution for bakeries in emerging consumer markets looking to move from manual to semi-automated operations. This combination line ensures maximum profitability with simple operation, reduced waste and efficient product changeover,” AMF describes the equipment. As a compact production solution, it is suitable for new product development and is already in use at several test facilities.

Around 2,200 exhibitors showcased the latest international baking solutions at Bakery China, in Shanghai. AMF presented several new bakery technologies manufactured at its Tianjin production site, including the latest horizontal mixers, extrusion dividers, sheeting and laminating lines, ovens, and slicing and bread bagging solutions, in addition to the Mini Combo BDR System.
