Associations from Slovakia and Poland joined the International Association of Plant Bakers.

Viktor Guman, the representative of the new member association from Slovakia, ‘SZPAC (Slovenský zväz pekárov, cukrarov a cestovinárov SR), joined the national organization’s first AIBI board meeting. During this meeting, the Board also approved the membership application from UBA (Ukrainian Bakers Association), which becomes the 16th National member of the organization.

The Polish Bakers Association SPP (Stowarzyszenie Producentów Pieczywa) is also a recently joined member of AIBI.

The recent expansion reflects AIBI’s focus on central Europe.
