Barry Callebaut Group appointed Peter Feld as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective immediately, as Peter Boone steps down for personal reasons. Feld has 30 years of experience working for global companies specializing in consumer goods and services, which include Jacobs Holding, Procter & Gamble, Johnson & Johnson and Beiersdorf.

He was also the VP of the German Brands Association, focusing on the sustainable development of the industry.

Commenting on his appointment, Feld said: “It is a great honor to assume responsibility as CEO of Barry Callebaut. Chocolate is a life-long passion, even more so as I started my career in the food industry. I am very much looking forward to bringing my leadership experience to Barry Callebaut and am excited about writing the next chapter of our success story together with the entire team.”
