Le Groupe Le Duff and Bridor announced the acquisition of Panidor, a frozen bakery and pastry manufacturer in Portugal, founded in the 90s and specializing in breads, pastries and pastéis de nata.
“This acquisition reflects our ambition and supports Bridor’s mission: to offer high-quality products that reflect the baking cultures of the world,” said Philippe MORIN, Bridor Managing Director, in an announcement.
Pastel de Nata Bridor is made in Portugal in the Leiria region, at the Panidor production site. It is made with a traditional Portuguese recipe. “It also represents Bridor’s mission: to promote iconic products reflecting the baking cultures of the world, made from rigorously selected raw materials,” Morin added.
Earlier this year, The Le Duff Group and its subsidiary Bridor also bought Lecoq Cuisine, a North American bakery making Viennese pastries, bakery and French-style pastries.
