Taking place from January 28 to 31, 2024, ProSweets Cologne will bring together over 250 exhibitors from over 25 countries representing the international supplier industry for sweets and snacks. Together with it, its traditional counterpart, ISM, will also be held.
ISM/ProSweets Cologne, which will be held as a special edition from April 23 to 25, will address the challenges in the sweets and snacks industries that led to the one-off delay, including the steep price increases for raw materials, energy and logistics.
ISM has recorded a high number of applications, following the announcement that the event will be held from April 23 to 25 next year, three months later than its usual program.
ISM announced its Asian debut in Tokyo, Japan is postponed April 2023. The trade fair was originally scheduled to take place in April this year but is now rescheduled due to COVID-19 concerns.
Around 80% of the visitors to ISM Cologne came from outside Germany, attendance figures revealed. Approximately 15,000 trade visitors from 96 countries visited the trade fair.
ISM is set to start the year’s in-person events in Cologne from January 30 to February 2, 2022, after a two-year break. There are around 1,200 exhibitors from more than 60 countries registered to date, the organizers announced.
