First announced in July, the acquisition of the French Mademoiselle Desserts Group was successfully completed. Mademoiselle Desserts specializes in premium patisserie, with 12 production sites in France, the UK, the Netherlands and Belgium.
Mademoiselle Desserts introduced an exclusive dessert on the occasion of the 2024 Olympic Games, which begin on Friday, July 26, in Paris. The unique creation is inspired by the Olympic spirit, “combining excellence and passion”, as the bakery describes it.
The Emmi Group announced it intends to acquire the leading French group specializing in premium pastries, Mademoiselle Desserts. The potential acquisition has an enterprise value of around EUR 900 million.
Both products entered into the competition by The Handmade Cake Company for the Free From Food Awards are among this year’s winners. Gluten Free Carrot Cake Bar won gold and the Gluten Free & Vegan Flapjack won bronze.
Moi by Mademoiselle Desserts announced it introduced its mini beignets for sale at UK grocery retailers. Moi’s frozen mini beignets are made from buttery French brioche dough and have different flavored fillings including hazelnut & cocoa, red fruits, apple, and speculoos.
Mademoiselle Desserts completed its acquisition of Galana, a Belgian producer of frozen bakery and ice cream products, on June 30. Mademoiselle Desserts now takes over the full bakery and ice cream operations in Waregem, Belgium.
