Greggs launches summer menu

Greggs announced its new summer range of products, available now in its shops, including two flatbread sandwiches, vegan offerings and muffins, alongside matching summer drinks.

The ‘summer picnic’ menu includes chicken perso flatbread, made with pesto-style chicken mayonnaise and salad with slow-roasted tomato wedges in a garlic and oregano marinade – wrapped in a flatbread. The spicy Mexican bean flatbread features mixed beans in a Mexican-style sauce with peppers, sweetcorn, and jalapeños, covered with Chipotle chilli mayonnaise and wrapped in a flatbread.

Another Mexico-inspired offering is the returning Vegan Mexican Chicken-free Bake, made with vegan chicken-free pieces, mixed vegetables and spicy Mexican-style tomato sauce, packed into a crispy pastry case and topped with a seasoned crumb coating.

The summer menu also includes a vegetable bake, filled with a mix of vegetables and Cheddar cheese, the Cherry Bakewell muffin, with sour cherry flavored pieces, filled with cherry jam and covered with white fondant, and a fruit pot with apples and strawberries.

The summer drinks lineup includes a mango and strawberry cooler, a strawberry and cream shake, strawberry lemonade, an iced Americano and an iced latte.
