Pågen introduced a new taste experience aimed at all eating occasions: the Greek Country Bread, an unsweetened country bread that reminds of Greece and summer memories. The rustic bread can be toasted or dipped in olive oil with the food, its maker recommends.

This 560 g bread is baked with sea salt for added flavor, and it is just as good for breakfast and as a side dish for dinner, says Malin Engblom Jeppsson, Brand Marketing Manager at Pågen. “We see a demand among consumers for bread that is baked in the traditional way and with genuine, simple flavors – here, we think that Grekiskt Lantbröd really adds something new to Pågen’s portfolio,” Jeppsson comments on the new product launch.

A family business opened in 1878, Pågen specializes in packaged fresh bread, fermented coffee bread, crusts, and buns. Its current product portfolio comprises around 60 different products.

The bakery has a turnover of SEK 3.4 billion (EUR 297,110,700) and around 1,400 employees.
