IBIE 2025: Handtmann focuses on precision and automation

Handtmann brings its latest solutions to Las Vegas, which help increase efficiency and process automation. The company shares what visitors can expect and their insights into the US market, in an interview:

f2m: What are you preparing to highlight at IBIE?

Handtmann: Handtmann, Inc. is showcasing next-generation bakery solutions designed to help producers meet evolving market demands and production goals with precision, consistency and scalable automation.  Our technologies cover a broad range of bakery applications from pocket and filled products to pizza, breads, buns, cookies and more.

Featured technologies include fast, continuous, multi-lane dough dividing and co-extrusion systems that deliver accurate portioning with minimal waste, making a measurable business difference, along with flexible depositing solutions.  These technologies are designed for easy product and format flexibility, helping bakeries expand offerings and achieve consistent quality at high production volumes, without the complexity of overhauling their processes. 

f2m: Please highlight new launches, if applicable.

Handtmann: A new multi-lane dough dividing solution will make its North American debut at IBIE. It provides fast, continuous dividing across 4 to 8 lanes, using a single servo-driven flow divider.  The clean design minimizes moving parts, resulting in minimal maintenance, less wear, and consistent performance and portioning lane to lane.  It’s ideal for producing buns, rolls, and other dough-based products at industrial speeds while maintaining uniform shape, portion accuracy, and quality.

f2m: What is one takeaway that visitors should keep in mind about your stand this year?

Handtmann: Handtmann has very high-performing bakery technologies and complete solutions.  We bring process, technology, and expertise across the line from preparation to final product, helping customers substantially elevate industrial-level production with precision and efficiency.

Our technologies not only improve line performance, but they also make it easier to develop new products that were once too complex for high-volume production.

f2m: What types of solutions are you requested the most in the US, from your portfolio?

Handtmann: In North America, Handtmann sees strong demand for solutions that support product innovation, automation, efficiency and consistent quality.  Many bakeries are expanding into new product formats, such as filled goods, snackable & trendy items and other diversified baked goods, while optimizing line performance.  Our most requested solutions include multi-lane dough dividing, co-extrusion for filled bakery products, and flexible depositing systems that adapt to specific product requirements.
