Trade visitors can vote for the Trend Award Public’s Favorite, which debuts this year at südback. With this award, the organizers will gain direct feedback from their target audience. An expert just has made a preliminary selection and its own final call: out of around 60 submissions, 20 final nominees were chosen under three categories – Market, Sales and Organization; Raw Materials & Convenience; and Technology. The jury then chose winners for each of the categories, which may vary from the public’s favorites, once the votes are cast out of the 20 nominations.

Prof. Michael Kleinert, chairman of the jury for the südback Trend Award, explained: “An award chosen by the visitors is an excellent way of incorporating the views of the target groups attending the event. As the jury of this award, we have plenty of expertise in the field and it will be interesting for us to see how the visitors and representatives of what is a very diverse industry rate the innovative strength of the shortlisted projects from their own practical experience.”

The deadline for casting your vote is midnight on October 20, 2022. Votes can be cast online.

The winners of the Trend Award and the Trend Award Public’s Favorite will be celebrated during the südback opening ceremony. A trophy will also be presented to the winner of the Public’s Favorite award.
