Guenther Bakeries’ new site will produce 72,000 buns an hour exclusively for McDonald’s UK. GBP 38 m went into the Coventry investment, GBP 20 m of which was spent on new technology, Insider Media reports. Around 90 people will be hired to work here. The facility is said to bake 1.1 million buns a day.
