At interpack, VMI will be highlighting its vertical batch mixer, the Kneadster, and the Phebus planetary mixer. VMI will exhibit together with its sister companies, at the joint Linxis Group booth.
The Kneadster® is designed for bakers who want to make artisan-style bread on an industrial scale. It is also suitable for producing a wide range of products such as sandwich bread, pastries, brioche, cookies, snack products, and more. “The Kneadster® mixer is fitted with an intuitive HMI, a removable bowl and a double mixing tool of exclusive design. This double mixing tool’s diameter, shape, and position in the bowl allow the dough to develop quickly and evenly without heating,” VMI explains. With a capacity of up to 550kg of dough, it can be used in retail and wholesale bakeries and can be integrated into automated systems.
The Phebus is a planetary mixer designed for bakery, pastry and snacking operations. It can process up to 200 liters of various preparations (creams, sponge cakes, buns, special breads, etc.) and embeds VMI’s touch interface Digy. “Its quick attachment system offers the ability to easily change tools between the paddle (standard), whisk and spiral (available as optional add-ons) for added versatility,” VMI adds. This mixer was designed to be operated comfortably thanks to its asymmetrical feet, with a bowl height adjustable to the user. It is designed for optimum hygiene with a stainless steel machine, a sealed and removable cover and a drain at the bottom of the bowl.
