Hansaloy announced Allen Wright is now its new president, following a transition period of 18 months. He was previously VP of sales and manufacturing and has been working at Hansaloy for 30 years. Wright is also vice chair of the IBIE 2025 committee.
“Hansaloy is committed to continuing its high level of industry service for many years to come. We look forward to serving our customers,” Wright comments.
The company’s previous president of 15 years Kim Brenner, now takes on the role of executive director.
“Hansaloy has been providing bread and bun slicing blades and other products for 91 years from its Davenport, Iowa, location. We view strong, steady leadership as integral to serving that mission. To that end, Mr. Wright becomes the third president of Hansaloy in the past 34 years,” Brenner adds.
Founded in 1933 by John Hansen of Davenport, Iowa, Hansaloy specializes in slicing baked products including bread loaves, buns, rolls, etc. In addition to manufacturing blades, Hansaloy also makes lattice, blade guides, and honing equipment for bread slicers.
