Artisan bakery Friends in Knead announced plans to have a permanent shop in Cardiff’s 37 Castle Arcade, which was originally opened as a pop-up shop last year. The company commented on social media that the business enjoyed huge success and they “couldn’t imagine handing back the keys” of the pop-up store.

Friends in Knead’s shop was previously occupied by a beauty salon, according to local press reports, and offers a range of classic cakes and pastries, as well as a range of savory products.

This will be the third shop owned by the business, in addition to those in Roath and Barry.
