Grupo Bimbo signed an agreement to acquire Wickbold, a Brazilian bakery founded 86 years ago, specializing in differentiated lines of special breads and breads with grains. The transaction includes the Wickbold® and Seven Boys® brands, with a portfolio of packaged bread, sweet baked goods, cookies, bisnaguinhas, and panettones, along with four manufacturing facilities located in the south of Brazil.

The transaction is still subject to regulatory approvals.
